Again, there is no writing homework this week. Your homework is to finish and turn in anything you have missing! Look for anything that says "missing" in the grade book. If something is blank, that means I haven't scored your assignment yet. If you have something missing and cannot remember the directions, see the LINKS page for help. Progress reports will be going home on Wednesday.
There is no weekly writing this week. TASK: Check your progress in Infinite Campus. You've been given enough opportunities to meet 6.3 Informative Writing. If you have not met the goal, see if there's something you need to complete or revise or perhaps show me. We are still working on 3.2 Relevant, Supporting Details. This week, you will be taking the evidence you gathered last week to support a thesis statement and constructing a well-written response. We will be constructing this writing together, so technically there is no homework (unless you don't finish in class).
We are approximately half way through the quarter, so you need to be checking in Infinite Campus to see how you are progressing on your learning goals. Read the following THESIS STATEMENT (claim), and cite 2 pieces of RELIABLE EVIDENCE to support the thesis (even if you do not agree with the statement). Due: Friday, 2/1

There is no new writing homework this week.
Please check Infinite Campus to see if you've turned in the two homework assignments that have been assigned this quarter. Read the article, "How Writing By Hand Makes Kids Smarter."
